Admission Notice: MBA (Software Enterprise Management): 2007-08, Two years full time programme approved by AICTE & affiliated with GGSIP University, Delhi
About the Course: MBA (SEM) is two year full time programme designed to address the specific needs of the Software Industry for Software Project Management Professionals.
The program primarily aims to prepare the students for industry by the students for industry by exposing them to latest technology and tools used in current business scenario whereby students learn to configure and map various business processes of the company pertaining to core functionalities like financial accounting, Sales & Distribution, Logistic and Human Resources in an integrated manner so as to drive the company towards improved productivity.
Eligibility: 1. B.E./B. Tech in Computer Science, IT, E&C and equivalent with minimum of 60% marks. 2. M. Sc. (CS), M. Sc. (IT), M. Sc (Electronics) with minimum of 60% marks. 3. MCA with minimum of 60% marks.
How to Apply: Students meeting the eligibility criteria may appear in All India Common Entrance Test (CET) to be held on 24.06.2006, CET shall be conducted at various places across the country as mentioned in Admission Brochure. Admission Brochure will be on sale from 1st March, 2007 on payment of Rs.750.00 from following places.

School of Business Management, Thapar institute of Engneering & Technology (TIET), Patiala 147004
TIET Patiala, a 50 year old Institute with a Deemed University status, launched the School of Business Management in its Golden Jubilee year to reinforce the techno-management education in te country. TIET announces the admission to the following courses for the academic session 2007-08
1. BE-MBA - A 5 year conjugate dual degree programme leading to BE in any discipline and MBA. 2. BE (IE) MBA – A 5 year integrated post Graduate programme leading to a dual degree in BE (Industrial Engineering)- MBA

3. MBA (IT-NET) – A two year post Graduate programme leading to a Master of Business Administration (IT – Networking). The course offers an opportunity to the Engineering/ Science graduate to build their capability in IT and Computer Networks Management , a high growth area of economic activities in the future.
4. MBA (MFG) – A two year post graduate programme leading to a Master of Business Administration in manufacturing. The course offers an opportunity to the students to have an in depth knowledge of the world of manufacturing management They will appreciate the uncertainties and risk to build on their capability advantages. This aims at converting environmental weakness into growth opportunities.
Eligibility – Graduation in any branch of Engineering and Technology of MCA. Candidates with B.Sc. / M. Sc. Will also be considered with a one year bridge course specially designed by the School of Business Management. MCA graduate are eligible for MBA (IT-NET) only.
Selection – The candidates who have appeared for any of the nationally recognized entrance tests for management education like CAT, MAT, XAT, JMET etc. will be considered for admission through group discussion and personal interview. The candidate who did not take any test will be required to take a test to be offered by SBM in Patiala on a date to be announced through the website. Candidates with work experience are preferred. They must have aptitude towards academic pursuit.
How to Apply: Candidate can secure the application form cum information brochure on payment of Rs. 1000.00 by crossed DD in favour of the Registrar, TIET, Patiala, from AR (Academic) TIET, Patiala. Forms can be also downloaded from the website and sent along with a DD for the abovementioned amount. The aspirants should be in constant touch with institute website.
Last Date for application: 22nd March 2007.
